Hi Georg,

The aspect ratio should be maintained. Select, just one, either Height or Width from the control panel dropdown, set the required height or width in the text box(based on your selection) and the plugin should maintain the ratio. I am working on changing the resize engine. Subscribe via RSS/Email for updates :) Let me know if there is anything else required with the plugin. Thanks!

And Super Thanks for the donation, made my day!

Hey designerfoo,

I love this plugin as it seems to be exactly what I am searching - yet I am struggling with keeping the aspect ratio of the images.

What settings do I need for the aspect ratio to be respected?

Warm regards and thank you!

No it's ok, I was thinking the plugin will resize the image when upload it in NextGen Gallery too (The original size will change in the manage gallery) So I still need to change the size of my picture before upload, because therer too big. NextGen don't want to upload it...

Thanks,

Hey Valerie,

(No worries on the english front, its quite good :) )

Is it throwing any errors? What version of the plugin are you using? I would highly recommend upgrading to 1.3b the newer version of the plugin.

Let me know... thanks!

PS: Thanks for the pat on the back.

(Sorry for my english...)

Hi, I'm really glad someone had this idea to rezised nextGen images! Thanks! :)

The resize works great when my original pictures have something like 1000px width, but when the pictures have 3000px or 4000px width it's not working...

I was wondering why?

Thanks!

Hi Yvette,

Forgive me, I don't follow :) Are you trying to resize flash videos? or are you trying to resize photos? while uploading them?

I have added this plug in. I can't seem to add galleries in different sizes? Once you have set up are all the flash shows the same size? Your resize doesn't change that. Or do I have this wrong?
